These Terms and Conditions apply to all massage therapy services provided by Muscularflow Massage (“we”, “us”, “our”, or “the therapist”). By booking or receiving a treatment, you (“the client”) agree to the following terms.
1. Services
Muscularflow Massage provides mobile massage therapy services in Victoria, Australia. Services are for therapeutic and relaxation purposes only and are not a substitute for medical care.
2. Client Health Information and Consent
By booking and/or receiving a treatment, you confirm that:

You have, to the best of your knowledge, provided all relevant information about your health, medical history, injuries, conditions, and medications

You give your full and informed consent to receive massage therapy

This consent applies to all current and future treatments, unless withdrawn

You understand that it is your responsibility to inform the therapist of any changes to your health or medical condition before each session
You acknowledge that failure to disclose relevant health information may increase the risk of injury or adverse effects, and you release the therapist from liability where harm occurs due to incomplete or inaccurate information provided by you.
3. Treatment Adjustments and Communication
You agree to:

Immediately inform the therapist if you experience pain, discomfort, dizziness, or any unusual symptoms during a session

Allow the therapist to adjust or stop treatment as necessary for your safety
Massage therapy will be modified or discontinued if required.
4. Potential Benefits and Limitations
You understand that massage therapy may provide benefits, which can include:

Relief of muscular tension

Relaxation
-
Reduction in symptoms of stress-related conditions
-
Improved general wellbeing
However, you acknowledge that:

Results are not guaranteed
-
Massage therapy outcomes vary between individuals
5. Possible Side Effects
You understand that massage therapy may cause temporary side effects, including but not limited to:

Muscular soreness
-
Mild bruising
-
Increased awareness of areas of pain
-
Light-headedness or fatigue
You accept these risks as part of receiving massage therapy.
6. Scope of Practice
You acknowledge that the therapist:

Does not diagnose medical conditions
-
Does not prescribe medications
-
Does not perform spinal manipulation or manipulation of spinal articulations
Massage therapy is provided within the therapist’s professional scope of practice.
7. Right to Refuse or Cease Treatment
Muscularflow Massage reserves the right to:

Refuse treatment
-
Stop treatment at any time
This may occur for reasons including (but not limited to):

Client safety concerns
-
Health contraindications
-
Inappropriate behaviour
8. Behaviour Policy
Any inappropriate physical, verbal, or sexual behaviour will not be tolerated.
If such behaviour occurs:

Treatment will be stopped immediately
-
The full session fee may still apply
-
Future bookings may be refused
9. Cancellations and No-Shows

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment

A 50% cancellation fee may apply if less than 24 hours’ notice is given
-
Failure to attend a booked appointment may also result in a cancellation fee
10. Payments
Payment is required as agreed at the time of booking.
Accepted payment methods include:

Cash
-
Direct debit / electronic transfer, where available
Payment details will be provided prior to or at the time of the appointment.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law:

Muscularflow Massage is not liable for injury, loss, or damage resulting from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the client

Clients accept responsibility for their own health decisions and participation in massage therapy
Nothing in these terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
